// Audio & Music Production

2 Year FdA Degree

This music production degree course is aimed primarily at students who see themselves as producer/engineers rather than artists. The course runs for two years and during this time, we cover a wide range of advanced engineering and music production techniques, as well as developing your technical knowledge of recording equipment. The course is validated by the University of Plymouth and is delivered by dBs Music in partnership with City College Plymouth. Fees from 2012 are £5950 per year.

Hands On

Successful music production courses require a large amount of hands on time. Whilst students do need a foundation of theory to support their vocational practice, it is our belief that students should spend most of their time honing their music production craft in seriously well equipped facilities.

Friendly Environment

dBs is not a standard university campus. Our dedicated facilities support a learning community dedicated to the creation of music and sound and music production skills. We pride ourselves on our friendly, inspiring, creative and fun learning environment..
